              NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT AND BOARD CHANGES


 Lord Hoyle of Warrington appointed non-executive director to Debt Free Direct


Debt Free Direct Group plc, the leading debt advice and solutions company, has
today appointed Lord Eric Douglas Harvey Hoyle of Warrington, age 74, to its
Board as a non-executive director.


Lord Douglas Hoyle was Chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party and Member of
the Shadow Cabinet from 1992 to 1997; he was raised to the Peerage as Baron
Hoyle of Warrington in the County of Cheshire in 1997 and was Spokesman on
Defence, Agriculture and the Home Office as well as being Government Whip from
1997 to 1999.  Lord Hoyle is also Chairman of Warrington Wolves RLFC Limited.


Lord Hoyle will replace Ian Currie on the Board.  Ian has stepped down to pursue
other interests.


Speaking on the appointment, Debt Free Direct Chairman Grenville Folwell said, '

Direct.  I am convinced that his experience will greatly benefit the company and
I look forward to working with him in the future.'



Debt Free Direct has also made two other changes to the Board, Paul Latham will
now take on the role of Company Secretary as well as his current role as Finance
Director, and former Company Secretary John Reynard has become a non-executive
director with particular responsibility for the audit committee.
