Transaction in Own Shares
Sports Direct announces that on 13 September 2019 it purchased 88,851 of its ordinary shares from Liberum Capital Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of 273.83 pence per share, as part of the Company's buyback programme announced on 11th September. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.
Following the above purchase, the Company holds 114,437,078 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 526,165,291.
