Grant of Performance Share Rights


The following grants of rights to ordinary shares were made under terms of the
Sports Direct International plc Performance Share Plan (the "Plan") on Thursday
5 April:


Share Right Grants


1.   David Forsey                 223,256 ordinary shares

2.   Robert Mellors               223,256 ordinary shares


The shares will be awarded to the relevant directors if the performance criteria
set out under the Plan, as detailed in the IPO Prospectus dated 13 February
2007, are met within the performance period which ends on 25 April 2010.
