'Result of EGM and Investment Update'



The Company is pleased to announce that the resolutions proposed at the recent
EGM and subsequent class meetings were approved by shareholders.  The Company
has now changed its year end to 31 December 2002 which will result in a short
accounting period from 1 October 2002 to 31 December 2002. The Company is also
seeking sanction from the Court to cancel the remainder of the share premium
account.



In addition, the Company announces that it has made the following recent
investments:



1)                  a new investment of £1 million in Wire-e Limited, a wireless
data applications business;



2)                  a follow on investment of £180,000 in Alaric Systems
Limited, a software development company; and



3)                  two follow on investments of, in aggregate, £450,000 in
Sarantel Limited, a mobile antenna products business for telephone handsets, GPS
and bluetooth.
