Offer for Subscription up to 1,101,646 new Ordinary Shares and 3,304,938 new 'C'
Shares ('the Offer')

The Company announces that in connection with the Offer, the following number of
shares were alloted on 27 January 2004:

10,107 new Ordinary Shares; and
30,321 new 'C' Shares.

The total number of shares allotted under the Offer to date is as follows:

718, 223 new Ordinary Shares; and
2,154,697 new 'C' Shares.

The Offer remains open for acceptance.

Details of the offer are contained in a circular dated 22 September 2003 which
is available for inspection only, at the Document Viewing Facility of at the
Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14
5HS during normal business hours.
