Allotment of shares


Following the payment of the 5.0p dividend on 7 March 2008 the Board announces
that 209,325 Ordinary Shares of 1.0 pence each in the Company have been allotted
at of 61.05p per Ordinary Share under the Company's Dividend Reinvestment
Scheme.

Application has been made for the admission of the 209,325 Ordinary Shares to
the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange plc's market for listed securities.

Following this allotment of shares the Company has 45,915,372 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
