Investment Portfolio Update

The  Company  announced on 24 January  that  one  of  its
investee  companies was planning a flotation  during  the
first quarter of this year.

e-district.net  plc   (formerly   SyNet   Communications
Limited) a company in which Foresight has a 30 per  cent.
shareholding has confirmed its intention to float on  the
Alternative  Investment  Market.   The  advisers  to   
e-district.net  plc  have  publically  indicated  a   value
substantially in excess of £100m.

The  Company  will  make a further  announcement  in  due
course.

Foresight  further announces that the C Share  Offer  for
Subscription has recently been increased to  £30  million
and  the offer period has today been finally extended  to
14 February 2000.
