The Company was informed on 21 January 2005 that, following the purchase of
100,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), Active
Capital, a client of F&C Asset Management Plc, has a material interest in
1,465,000 Ordinary Shares representing 5.12 per cent, of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital. The above shares are registered in the name of Chase
Nominees Ltd.
