The Company was informed on 24 September, 2002 that Friends Ivory & Sime has a
notifiable interest in 900,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company
("Ordinary Shares") representing 3.51% of the issued Ordinary Share capital.
The interest has arisen following the purchase by 3PC Investment Trust, a client
of Friends Ivory & Sime, of the above 900,000 Ordinary Shars on 19 September,
2002.  These shares are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Ltd.
