The Company was notified today by Friends Ivory & Sime plc that on 24 May 2002
they acquired 1,125,000 ordinary 10p shares ("Ordinary Shares") on behalf of The
AIM Trust plc. Following this purchase The AIM Trust plc has a shareholding of
1,125,000 Ordinary Shares which represents 4.38 per cent. of the Company's
issued Ordinary Share capital. The Ordinary Shares are registered in the name of
Chase Nominees Limited.
