The Company was notified on 24 January, 2001 by Robert Fleming Holdings
Limited that, as a result of a purchase in the market on December 19, 2000 of
50,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), The
Fleming Mercantile Investment Trust plc is now interested in 1,033,000
Ordinary Shares, which represents 4.11 per cent. of the issued share capital
of the Company.
