                         Grant of options to Directors


The Company has today granted the following options to subscribe for ordinary
shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to directors of the
Company under the Company's EMI Option Scheme:

The above options have been granted for nil consideration and are exercisable at
25p (being the closing mid market price of an Ordinary Share immediately prior
to the granting of the options) any time between three and ten years from the
date of grant subject to the fulfillment of certain performance criteria.
