TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

The Board of Foresight 4 VCT plc announces that on 31 August 2005 the Company
purchased for cancellation 140,000 ordinary shares of 1p at a price of 91.5p per
share.

Following this purchase there are now 12,453,689 ordinary shares of 1p in
issue.
