Change of Manager



The Board of Advent VCT 2 plc announces that VCF Partners, the technology
investment firm which manages inter alia the Foresight Technology VCTs, has
today conditionally agreed to acquire Advent Fund Managers, the Manager of
Advent VCT 2 plc.  The transaction is subject to the approval of the Advent VCT
2 shareholders. A circular giving full details of the transaction, including new
management arrangements with VCF Partners and change of name of the Company to
Foresight 4 VCT plc, will be despatched to shareholders later today together
with the Annual Report and Accounts.
