The Directors of Advent 2 VCT plc announce that following the Offer for
Subscription to shareholders dated 9 February 1998, application has been made to
the UK Listing Authority for the 19,567,000 ordinary shares in the Company that
were issued and allotted to investors but not listed on the Stock Exchange in
April 1998 to be admitted to the London Stock Exchange's market for listed
securities.



These shares rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary share capital,
and it is anticipated that the new shares will be admitted to trading on 4 April
2002, on which date the Company will have 34,922,052 ordinary shares in issue.
