Q1 products and news update

Focusrite Plc (AIM: TUNE), the global music and audio hardware and software manufacturer, provides an update on recent group news in the first quarter.

Focusrite one of the best small companies to work for in Britain

Focusrite is pleased to announce that it received the highest three-star rating in The Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For, 2015.  The Group was ranked 65th in this year's poll, which is the 15th annual ranking of the cream of Britain's happy and motivated workforces, with the results announced online by the Sunday Times on 8th March.

Focusrite makes two significant product launch announcements in Q1

The first quarter of 2015 saw two of the Group's most significant product announcements in the last five years. The Novation Launchpad Pro grid performance instrument and the Focusrite Clarett range of Thunderbolt interfaces were announced to the press the night before the start of the National Association of Music Merchants ("NAMM") trade show; the largest event for the music products industry.

'Launchpad Pro' is the enhanced version of the iconic Launchpad, which spawned a new generation of electronic music YouTube performers and continues to play an instrumental role in the globalization of electronic dance music. The new professional edition of Launchpad ships this summer and aims to deliver much more of an 'instrument' experience.

The launch of the Clarett range is further evidence of Focusrite's leading position in the audio interface market, as the range sets new standards for sonic integrity and robust, stable, lightning-fast performance.

RedNet to power Usher's 2015 UK tour

Finally, Focusrite's RedNet range continues to perform strongly in the world of live sound touring. Five-times Grammy award-winning artist, Usher, has commenced his UK tour supported by a 25-unit RedNet interface system; the largest RedNet live rig to date.

Dave Froker, Chief Executive Officer of Focusrite, commented:

"It has been a busy and exciting start to the year for us, with two major product launches dominating the focus of our activity. The Clarett range and the Launchpad Pro are amazing products that we are excited to be adding to our already formidable suite across both the Focusrite and Novation brands.

We were also pleased to be featured in The Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For once again this year. Our employees are our business, we value them extremely highly and it is very satisfying to see the conditions we endeavour to create for them to thrive and succeed being recognised again in this prestigious poll."
