Paddy Power plc announces today that it has purchased for cancellation 958,000
Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company.

The highest price paid for these Ordinary Shares was €22.90 per share and the
lowest price paid was €22.80 per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the Company will have 50,318,437
Ordinary Shares in issue.
