Paddy Power Announces Departure of Chief Operating Officer

Paddy Power plc has today (10^th November 2011) announced that Breon Corcoran, the Group's Chief Operating Officer, will be leaving to take up a new post as Chief Executive of Betfair Group plc. and has resigned as a Director of Paddy Power plc with immediate effect. He will take up his position in August 2012. Breon joined Paddy Power in 2001 and was appointed to the Board in 2004. As Chief Operating Officer, Breon had responsibility for Online and Technology, Non-Retail HR and development in the USA.

Commenting, Patrick Kennedy, Chief Executive of Paddy Power said: "Breon has made a strong contribution to the development of Paddy Power over the past 10 years and we thank him for this. We wish him success in the future".
