Mr. Barni Evans, UK Marketing Director, and Ms. Nuala Spratt, Financial
Controller, have each been granted options over 25,000 Ordinary Shares in Paddy
Power plc on 24th July 2002, exercisable at a price of €5.25 per share, subject
to the attainment of certain performance criteria. The options can be exercised
from 24th July 2005.
