            Paddy Power plc announces role changes amongst its Board of Directors

As announced at the Annual General Meeting of Paddy Power plc on 15 May 2008, Nigel Northridge will succeed Fintan Drury as Chairman of Paddy Power with effect from 1 January 2009.  Tom Grace will replace Nigel as Senior Independent Director and Fintan will remain as a Non-executive Director.
