As announced in the interim results of Paddy Power plc this morning, Mr. Breon
Corcoran has joined the board of Paddy Power plc.

Mr. Corcoran currently holds 20,000 shares in Paddy Power plc and was awarded
30,000 shares under the Long Term Incentive Plan. Mr. Corcoran currently holds
options over 50,000 ordinary shares exercisable at €3.59 and options over 20,000
ordinary shares exercisable at €8.15.

Mr. Corcoran is currently a director of Quaggo.com Limited and has no
disclosures to make under Rule 6.F.2. (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.
