Notification of Interest



Flomerics Group plc (the 'Company') has been informed by a letter dated 6
September 2001 from Friends Ivory & Sime plc that following a purchase of
15,000 ordinary shares of 1p each on 4 September 2001, Friends Ivory & Sime
plc is now interested in 2,197,500 ordinary shares representing 15.00% of the
issued share capital of the Company.



Such interest includes the material interests of the clients of Friends Ivory
& Sime plc referred to below:
