                             DIRECTORS SHARE DEALING

The Company was notified on 12 March 2002 that Mr R Angus F Buchanan, a
director of the Company, acquired 10,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the
Company ('Ordinary Shares') representing 0.02 per cent of the Company's issued
share capital on 12 March 2002 at a price of 115p per Ordinary Share. Following
this acquisition, Mr Buchanan's beneficial interest in the Company's issued
ordinary share capital is 18,000 Ordinary Shares which represents 0.04 per cent
of the Company's total issued ordinary share capital.
