                          APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR


The Board of the Company is delighted to announce the appointment of a new
director to the Company with effect from 6 July 2006.

David Hunt, FCA joins the Board as an independent non-executive director. David
is currently a Director in Assurance and Business Services at Smith &
Williamson.  Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1972, David has held
a number of high profile financial positions including being a Partner at Arthur
Andersen and Head of Audit Services at Binder Hamlyn.

There are no matters to be disclosed under listing rule 9.6.13.
