Further  to  this morning's announcement in relation  to  discussions
regarding  the  potential sale of BGR's Signature  Restaurants  to  a
private  consortium, the Company has been asked by Leigh  Collins  to
clarify  inaccurate comments in the weekend press which  outlined  Mr
Collins as the buyer of the Signature Restaurants.

He  is  one  of  several  small private  investors  involved  in  the
consortium.


Note:

The  Signature Restaurants comprise Bank (Aldwych), Bank (Birmingham)
