Directors' Dealings

The Company were informed yesterday that R H Truss, a Director of the Company
who retires at the forthcoming AGM, yesterday sold 3,118,222 Ordinary Shares
of 10p each in the Company at 400p per share.  These shares were placed with
institutional investors and helped to meet the demand for the shares.  J
Ormerod the Finance Director/Chief Executive yesterday purchased 62,500
Ordinary Shares of 10p each in the Company at 400p per share.  

Following these transactions R H Truss no longer has a holding in the issued
share capital of the Company and J Ormerod is now interested in 1,054,910
Ordinary Shares which represents 5.8% of the issued share capital of the
Company.
