Falkland Islands Holdings plc ('FIH'), an AIM quoted company operating (through
its subsidiaries) a range of businesses in the Falkland Islands, and the
Portsmouth Harbour Ferry Company in the UK, announces that on 31 March 2006 Tony
Knightley stood down as Finance Director of the Group.

Mr Knightley, who is 56 years old, has left FIH after many years of highly
valued service for personal reasons in order to pursue other interests and to
spend more time with his family.  The board of FIH are very grateful to Mr
Knightley for his contribution and extend their best wishes to him and his
family for the future.  Mr Knightley's responsibilities for finance will be
assumed by Managing Director John Foster who is a chartered accountant and has
previously held the position of Finance Director in a number of UK listed public
companies.
