On 14 March 2001 Fidelity European Values PLC issued and allotted a further
3,789 ordinary 25p shares at a price of 572 pence per share (which represented
a premium in excess of 2% over the latest net asset value), in respect of
shares purchased through the Fidelity Investment Trust Share Plan. These
shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary 25p shares. The total
number of ordinary 25p shares now in issue is 58,357,212.
