The Chairman of Genesis Emerging Markets Fund Limited has today notified the
Company that on 16th June, 2006, he purchased 4,000 Participating Preference
Shares in the Company. Following this transaction, Mr Teulings has a total of
4,000 shares in the Company, representing 0.03% of the share capital.
