The Directors of the Genesis Emerging Markets Fund Limited are pleased to
announce that the Annual General Meeting of the Company was held on October 4th
and all resolutions were passed. Accordingly, the authority of the Company to
purchase up to 15% of the Participating shares has been renewed until the next
Annual General Meeting.
