                             BOARD RESTRUCTURING

As part of a continuous process of development, Mr Andy Bromley has been
promoted to Chief Executive of Farsight Surveillance Technologies Limited, and
Miss Carol Booth has been appointed Managing Director. Farsight, one of the
UK's leading and fastest growing companies in the area of security technology,
consultancy and remote video monitoring was acquired by the Ninth Floor plc in
April 2000.

Carol joined the Board of the Ninth Floor plc as Commercial Director in April
2000 and joined the Group at the time of its acquisition of Silver Shield
Screens in March 1996, where she was General Manager.

Carol will remain on the board of the Ninth Floor plc, but has resigned as
Company Secretary. This post will now be filled by the Finance Director, Mr
Michael Creedon.


Commenting on the appointments, Neil McClure said:

'We are now planning for considerable expansion at Farsight and the
appointment of Carol to the management team will strengthen the company's
organisational, sales and marketing capabilities.'
