Ferguson plc John Daly to step down as a Non Executive Director

Ferguson plc announces that John Daly has decided to step down as a Non Executive Director following more than four years' service. John's resignation from the Board is a result of his increased business commitments elsewhere and will take effect from the end of this month.

Ferguson plc Chairman, Gareth Davis said:

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank John for his considerable contribution to Ferguson over the past four years. We understand the reasons behind John's decision, with other time commitments, in particular the recent listing of Vivo Energy plc where he is Chairman. I would like to take this opportunity to wish John well for the future."
