GENERAL TEXT AMENDMENT

The following amendment has been made to the 'Director/PDMR Shareholding' announcement released on 22 April 2010 at 15:00 under RNS No 5729K.

Listing of employee awards granted under the correct share plans.

All other details remain unchanged. The full amended text is shown below.

In accordance with the requirements of DTR 3.1.4 R(1), we have today been notified of the following share option grants over ordinary shares in the capital of the Company in respect of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMR') under the following employee share schemes:

1. Wolseley Employees Savings Related Share Option Scheme 1981:
