Pursuant to our Listing Agreement, you are hereby notified that the Annual
Meeting of Stockholders of Ford Motor Company will be held on Thursday, May 11,
2000, at 10:00 a.m., eastern daylight saving time, at Zoo Atlanta, 800 Cherokee
Avenue S.E., Atlanta, Georgia USA.

Also, the Board of Directors of the Company fixed March 15, 2000, as the record
date for the Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
