Letter to RNS

This is to advise you that the Board of Directors of Ford Motor Company at a
meeting held today declared dividends of 10 cents per share on the Company's
outstanding Class B Stock and Common Stock payable June 1, 2006 to shareholders
of record on May 2, 2006.

The amounts of the dividends on the Class B and Common Stock are the same as the
amounts of the dividends paid thereon in the first quarter of 2006.
