BEARER DEPOSITARY RECEIPTS

On 12 April 2001, the Ford Motor Company (U.S.) declared a DIVIDEND of $0.30
(gross) per share on the common stock of the Company, and there will accordingly
become due in respect of the Bearer Depositary Receipts a gross distribution of
US$0.015 per unit (less U.S. Withholding Tax).  The Depositary, National
Westminster Bank Plc, will by public advertisement, give notice of the sterling
equivalent of the distribution per unit payable on or after 15 June 2001 to
holders of record 2 May 2001.
