An innovative and passionate approach focused on people

FDM (AIM: FDMG) has recently been crowned 'Training Department of the Year 2009', sponsored and presented by IBM at the IT Training Awards. This accolade follows 'hot-on-the-heels' after FDM was recognised as 'Sussex Company of the Year 2008/09' - previous winners being Virgin and Body Shop.

The international IT services business has been recognised nationally for demonstrating consistent high quality and innovation when training individuals as well as servicing clients. The judges were seeking clear differentiators from other entrants and were impressed by FDM's robust business model.

FDM was praised for their track record of success and strong focus on the careers of the individuals recruited. Their unique and pioneering approach to building IT talent has attracted many new clients, which include some of the most prominent businesses in the world; UBS, BSkyB, Asda and Credit Suisse, to name a few.

Commenting on the award, Rod Flavell, Chief Executive Officer of FDM said:

"We are delighted and proud to be presented with this award, which recognises our dedication to developing talent nationwide.

"Training is at the heart of everything we do, and this is reflected in the strong relationships we have built with our clients.

"FDM produces consultants of the highest standard, and it is our commitment to our candidates, as well as clients, that is key to our success."
