First Derivatives Plc ('the Company')

As announced in the preliminary results of the Company on 25 May 2005, the
Company is proposing to pay a dividend of 1.46 pence per share.  The record date
for this dividend will be Friday 3 June 2005 and the dividend payment will be
made on Friday 1 July 2005.
