I wish to confirm that a Board Meeting of this Company has been fixed for
Tuesday, 31st August 1999 at which the results of this Company for the half
year ended 30th June 1999 will be approved.  An Interim Dividend is expected
to be determined and a payment date decided on.

It is intended to release the results to the Stock Exchange and the Public on
Wednesday the 1st September 1999.
