9 January 2012 - It is with great sadness that we are announcing the death of Paul Brooks, Chief Financial Officer of Experian plc. Paul died suddenly this weekend at his home in California. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Paul's family at this time.

Sir John Peace, Chairman, said:

"Paul was a great friend, a talented colleague and an inspirational leader and will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of working and dealing with him. Our immediate thoughts are with his wife and family and we will do everything we can to support them at this difficult time.

"Paul's legacy to Experian will be the very strong global finance team he developed, who will provide all the necessary support and coverage needed as we move forward."
