the Company is issuing the following correction. Details of the awards made to
Paul Brooks, a director of the Company, are as follows: -

                         AMERICA CO-INVESTMENT PLAN

(a)     Directors:

In accordance with the terms of The GUS North America Co-Investment Plan, the
Company made awards over ordinary shares  of US 10 cents each on 29 June 2007 to
the following directors by reference to a price of 630.9933p per share. Details 
of the awards are as follows:-

to a price of 630.9933p per share. Details of the awards to Mr. Callero are as
follows:-
