                            The Evolution Group Plc

The Evolution Group Plc ("the Company") announces that on 27 April 2006,
Evolution EBT Limited, as Trustee of The Evolution Group Plc Employees'
Share Trust (the "Trust") (a discretionary trust of which all employees of
The Evolution Group Plc and its subsidiaries are potential beneficiaries),
completed a purchase of 375,000 Ordinary 1p Shares ("Shares") in the Company
at an average price of £1.69034 per share.

The Executive Directors are deemed for Companies Act purposes to be 
interested in all Shares held by the Trust.

The Trust now holds a total of 7,886,463 Shares representing 3.422 %
of the Company's issued share capital.
