Strategic tie up in Israeli venture capital market
eVestment, the internet and e-commerce investment
company, is pleased to announce that it is taking a
strategic 10% shareholding in Israel based 4HighTech.com
('4HighTech').
4HighTech uses the Internet to find and screen high
quality, technology driven, start up Israeli companies.
Through its web-site it gives the start ups access to
venture capital investment provided by sophisticated
private investors, Venture Capital Funds and Corporations
in the US, Europe and Israel.
Selected investments must be early stage in exciting new
technologies, have a clear competitive edge in markets
with significant potential and be controlled by a
motivated and experienced management team with a solid
business approach. 4HighTech participates in fund
raisings of between $500,000 to $3 million.
4HighTech is lead by David Solomon and Daniel Goldman.
David is one of Israel's leading experts in the field of
hi-tech business development, with excellent connections
both in Israel and overseas. Daniel is a Director of a
number of hi-tech companies in the UK, Israel and the US
and is a director designate of BATM; he worked for
investment and venture capital houses in the UK,
including Elderstreet, Shore Capital and Alberdale,
before recently returning to Israel.
eVestment Director Chris Roberts will join the 4HighTech
Board.

Current investments include eBop, The Share.com, Eighteen
Global, Infrastructure Defense, Kapok 2050, Stargig.com,

The eVestment management team, led by Oliver Vaughan,
Chairman, and Christopher Roberts, Chief Executive, has
strong investment and management experience. Oliver
Vaughan is a director of a number of companies including
Internet Technology Group and Redstone Telecom.
eVestment has recently recruited a team of managers
dedicated to internet investment.
eVestment was formed in 1997 and floated on AIM later
that year. It raised £9.8 million in December 1999 to
provide funds for further investment.
