The Evolution Group Plc (the "Company") announces that it received notification on 29 January 2009 from Legal & General Group Plc that on 28 January 2009 Legal & General Assurance (Pensions Management) Limited (PMC) was interested in 8,940,397 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares") representing a direct interest in approximately 3.98% of the issued Ordinary Share Capital of the Company.  This is a decrease from the previous notification of a direct holding of 8,944,637 Shares made on 2 November 2007.
