The Evolution Group Plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification
on 6 September 2006 from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited ("MLIM") that
MLIM was interested in, by reason of discretionary investment management
arrangements entered into by itself or its subsidiaries, 23,080,926 Ordinary
Shares of 1p each in the Company representing approximately 10.00% of the issued
ordinary share capital as at 5 September 2006.
