Resignation of Director &
appointment of Investment Advisers
The eVestment Company plc ('eVestment' or 'the Company') announces that John
Drinkwater has resigned today as a non-executive director of the Company to
pursue his own business interests. He is intending to set up a private
investment fund and will continue to liaise closely with eVestment in the
future.
The Company is also pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Beaton to its
advisory team as Chief Investment Officer. Between January 1996 and September
1999, Andrew was Managing Director, Europe of GE Equity, the private equity
arm of GE Capital. In that role, Andrew built a significant business
investing over US$350 million in 47 European companies and leading a team of
over 20 investment professionals. Andrew joined GE Capital in 1988 after 4
years with the London based private equity company, 3i plc.
Between 1988 and 1996 Andrew held a number of senior positions in GE Capital
in Europe and the USA. Andrew is a member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Scotland.
