                         Directors' Purchase of Shares

The Evolution Group plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification
on 4 November 2002 that Mr Andrew Beeson, Non-Executive Chairman, sold on that
day 571,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 48 pence per share.
This brings his total holding to 4,562,000 ordinary shares in the Company
representing 2.02% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
