Board Changes to 'Provide Balance'

                   The eVestment Company Plc ('the Company')

Further to the Company's decision to concentrate its investment activities  on
businesses related to the Internet and e-commerce, as outlined in the circular
to  shareholders  dated 1 June 1999, the Company is pleased  to  announce  the
following  board  changes, intended to provide balance to the  current  board,
consisting  of  Oliver Vaughan and Christopher Roberts, and to strengthen  its
investment management credentials.

Christopher Roberts has been appointed as chief executive. Jackie Donnelly has
been  appointed  as  an  executive director, whilst  Adrian  Graham  has  been
appointed  as  finance director.  Furthermore Tom Vaughan and John  Drinkwater
have been appointed as non-executive directors.
