Additional Listing-Amendment

Further to the Additional Listing announcement made on 17 September 1999 under
RNS No 6444j, the issuer has advised for clarification purposes, that dealings
in both classes of security are expected to begin on 28 September 1999.

The text of this clarification announcement is as follows.

Issue of shares/warrants (amendment)

For clarification purposes The eVestment Company Plc ('eVestment') wishes to
announce that the announcement made on 17 September 1999 concerning the
allotment of securities on 16 September 1999 involved the allotment of:

1,600,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each

6,400,000 warrants to subscribe for Ordinary Shares at a price of 2.5p each at
any time up to and including 31 May 2004.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for permission for
dealings in the new ordinary shares and warrants to take place on the
Alternative Investment Market and dealings in both classes of security are
expected to begin on Tuesday 28 September 1999.
