Educentre.com
The product is distributed via a twin marketing approach:
at a wholesale/community level via partnerships with LEAs
such as Bournemouth LEA and at retail/household level via
a direct marketing strategy. In launching digitalbrain,
educentre.com canvassed widely within the world of
education over a three-year development period to produce
a product that will provide a fully integrated
Information and Communication Technology ('ICT') solution
for students, teachers, schools, colleges, libraries and
residential use. Educentre.com's unique selling
proposition is that it not only provides content to the
user, but it also provides a means by which the user
stores their content with digitalbrain. This concept of
key content flowing both ways to and from the user in an
environment where the one is inextricably linked to the
other, is expected to make the Internet experience for
the user deeper, more practical and more useful.
Educentre.com believes that its UK focused content, e-
commerce and community opportunities will therefore be
superior to and more durable than, those offered by
generalist internet portals.
